The Farm

Photo-series shot in rural Pennsylvania, USA. These intimate photographs follow Barton’s partner, Stephen Barnes, on his grandparents farm. Barnes was raised in Pittsburgh, famous for its Steel industry just like her home town of Sheffield. Both share experiences of growing up in the remnants of industry, glory and a strong working-class identity.
